Koen Rasel
Pharmacist MSc. Ph.D.
Mrs Koen Rasel has born in Larissa. She had studied Pharmaceutical at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Bsc degree) and she did her Master degree of Molecular Biology (Msc) with graduate fellowship at Karolinska Institute, Center for Biotechnology, at Sweden. She attended two years seminars for Pharmacists of the Hellenic Homeopathic Society at the Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki. Also she attended postgraduate seminars of Aromatherapy and Herbal Medicine (Phytotherapy) of the department of Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy, University of Athens. She attended a series of training seminars for Flower essences of Dr. Bach. She studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (HATCM). She elaborated his doctoral thesis (Ph.D) in the Department of Medical Biochemistry Laboratory, University of Medicine of Thessaly, Greece. She participated in many seminars and conferences with publications. She is one of the founding members of the Hellenic Society of Ethno-pharmacology. She travelled with American Botanical Council at Amazon River (Peru) for studies of tropical plants. She teaches Aromatherapy and Phytotherapy and "Method of Wellness and relaxation -Spa" at colleges in Greece. At 2012 she created the Center for Alternative Treatments Health and Wellness, in collaboration with Dr. George Loucas. She exercises the pharmaceutical profession in conjunction with alternative health treatments since 1991.
